A rapidly expanding international logistics and freight forwarding organization is seeking a National Sales Director to lead its U.S. commercial function during an exciting period of growth and market expansion. This position is ideal for an experienced freight forwarding sales leader who enjoys building teams, driving growth, developing customer relationships, and creating scalable commercial strategies.

Description
Lead and develop a national sales team focused on freight forwarding and supply chain solutions.
Drive revenue growth through new business development and expansion of existing customer relationships.
Establish and execute commercial strategies that support aggressive growth objectives.
Coach, mentor, and develop sales professionals while fostering a high-performance culture.
Partner with executive leadership on organizational design, talent acquisition, and strategic planning.
Maintain executive-level relationships with customers and key industry stakeholders.
Support strategic account planning and enterprise customer development initiatives.
Spend significant time in the field alongside customers and sales teams.
Profile
10+ years of experience within freight forwarding, logistics, transportation, or supply chain services.
Strong expertise in air freight, ocean freight, and international logistics solutions.
Experience leading regional or national sales teams.
Demonstrated success driving commercial growth and customer acquisition.
Strong executive presence with excellent relationship-building and business development skills.
Ability to operate independently while collaborating with domestic and international leadership teams.
Experience working with European customers or international trade lanes is highly preferred.
This is a highly customer-facing leadership position requiring regular travel throughout the United States. Candidates should enjoy spending time in market with customers and sales teams while helping drive the organization's continued expansion.
Job Offer
Base salary: $150,000 - $240,000
Annual bonus opportunity: 25%
