Head of Software Engineering

NextGen is seeking an experienced and visionary Head of Software Engineering to lead our technology strategy and development efforts. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in full-stack web and software development, APIs, data engineering, cloud technologies, and emerging fields like blockchain, AI/ML, computer vision, and game development.
Key Responsibilities:
Define and execute the technology strategy aligned with business goals, focusing on innovation and scalability.
Lead the architecture and development of full-stack web solutions, APIs, and complex software applications.
Oversee data engineering processes, ensuring efficient data pipelines, analytics, and cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, Azure).
Spearhead advancements in AI, machine learning, blockchain, and computer vision projects, driving research and development.
Guide the development of next-gen game technologies, integrating advanced AI and immersive experiences.
Establish technology best practices and drive the adoption of cutting-edge tools and frameworks.
Collaborate cross-functionally to deliver technical solutions that meet both internal and client-facing requirements.
Manage and mentor engineering teams, fostering a culture of innovation, performance, and continuous improvement.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a CTO, VP of Engineering, or in a similar senior leadership role.
Expertise in full-stack web development, software engineering, APIs, and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure).
Strong understanding of data engineering, AI/ML, blockchain, computer vision, and game development.
Extensive experience building and scaling software platforms, ensuring reliability, security, and performance.
Demonstrated ability to lead diverse engineering teams and drive complex technical projects from concept to completion.
