About the role

About Grow Global Tech
Grow Global Tech is a boutique AI consulting and training company. We help marketing teams and organizations adopt AI in ways that actually change how they work — not just what tools they use.
Our clients include world-leading brands: Picsart and Sololearn, emerging startups like Rask.ai, Miranna, Design Lab, Palabra.ai and Plan Your Baby, as well as large enterprise clients like Aurigo and Integra Life Sciences. We've run AI bootcamps and projects across Switzerland, Italy, the UK, and the US – and we're growing from a one-person team with few freelancers to a small consultancy with permanent team.
The founder, Tatevik Maytesyan, runs client engagements, delivers AI bootcamps, and builds a network of partners and collaborators across the globe. You'd be joining at the right moment — when things are accelerating and the work is real.
Why This Role Is Worth Your Attention
This isn't a support role where you only answer emails and book flights. The person in this role gets a front-row seat to how AI is transforming organizations — from the inside.
You'll see client engagements up close, participate in building bootcamp content, and work directly with someone who has spent years at the intersection of AI, marketing, and business transformation. Tata invests in the people she works with — you'll have daily exposure to new AI tools, real business strategy, and how a founder-led consulting business operates.
The schedule is flexible. We'll agree on your hours (between 20 and 40 per week) based on what works for you. You can still be studying. You can have other projects. What matters is that you commit to what you take on and show up reliably.
Why you don’t want to work with me
I move fast and expects the people around me to keep up without being carried: you need to be on top of the news, see the changes in slack or email and react respectively
I will not do regular check-ins if a task is done, constantly remind about the deadline, or break tasks into small steps - I expect proactive approach from my team
My preference is not to manage people; but to delegate to adult professionals and get the work back finished.
I will always be open to answer any questions and explain the things, but will get frustrated if only questions you ask were easy to google and even more frustrated if you don’t ask questions at all
My feedback is direct and specific. When something is wrong, I'll name it clearly and tell you during the meeting or in a message. My expectation is that you’ll absorb it the first time. If the same mistake repeats after it's been corrected, that's a serious problem – not a learning moment.
The business is always running several things in parallel, priorities shift fast, and the context changes week to week. We work in the space, where AI models change every week, new tools emerge every day and client briefs come in last minute - so things need to be constantly updated and nothing is ever done 100%
You'll need to hold your own without anchoring and push back with facts and research - if you are a “yes person” or “will do person” without your own judgement - we won’t work well together.
I have high standards for quality — not perfectionism, but a clear sense of what good looks like — and work that's 60% done will be noticed immediately.
My documents and folders are structured and I like when people around me follow the structure too - save files to the right folders, check contracts carefully and organize information.
If you thrive with a lot of step by step guidance, need constant encouragement to stay motivated, or find direct feedback hard to receive, this will be a frustrating environment. If you're good at reading context, move fast, love learning and take ownership without prompting — you'll probably love it.
What This Role Is
This role exists to take full workstreams off the founder's plate — not to assist with them. The difference matters. An assistant asks "what should I do next?" The person in this role delivers a finished output and moves to the next task without prompting. This is not a simple “follow instruction” task executor role. It's a role for someone ready to act independently, build their own judgement and learn actively from the founder.
Core Responsibilities
1. Research & Structured Recommendations
The job is not to find information. It's to turn information into a recommendation and insights.
Vendor and tool research (developers, designers, platforms, suppliers)
Candidate sourcing for hiring pipelines
Market and competitor research when needed
Deliverable standard: situation, top 2–3 options with clear trade-offs, recommendation, and what's still missing. Never links without context. Never screenshots without a conclusion.
2. Outreach & External Coordination
Representing GGT externally in writing, without hand-holding.
Event organizers & conferences: Identifying speaking opportunities, sending and tracking applications, managing logistics for confirmed engagements
Media & podcast producers: Building target lists, drafting outreach on Tata's behalf, following up until there's a real answer — not stopping at the first non-reply
Vendors & contractors: Managing briefs, tracking deliverables, running hiring funnels end-to-end (outreach → scheduling → tracking)
Warm leads: Following up on leads or newsletter replies, scheduling discovery calls on Tata's behalf
3. AI Bootcamps, Public Presentations & Workshop Materials
Miro boards built to brief — client context applied, not copied from other
sessionsSlide
decks assembled correctly the first time, with the right style and content for the specific use caseDesig
ner briefs written with enough detail that the designer doesn't need to guessAll m
aterials checked before submission: right client, right context, right format
4. Operations & Project Tracking
Update website growglobal.tech with case studies, blog posts and new services
Maintaining the Notion task database and keeping it current with upcoming tasks
Tracking open threads across vendors, candidates, and partners
Flagging things that are stalled, missing, or about to be late — without waiting to be asked
Booking, scheduling, and logistics management of the travel
Sourcing, organizing and producing gifts and merch and for the business partners
Organizing remote in person events abroad (UK, US primarily)
What We're Looking ForMust-Haves
Fluent Business English
All work — internal and external — happens in English. Emails to podcast producers and conference organizers represent GGT. Writing quality matters.
Daily use of AI tools
Not "I've tried ChatGPT." You use AI tools regularly and know how to get real work done with them — Claude, ChatGPT, Perplexity, Midjourney, Canva AI, or others. You have a workflow. This is non-negotiable.
Marketing knowledge
You know what a landing page is, what a funnel looks like, what an ICP means, and why positioning matters. You think like a marketer even if you haven't had the title.
Judgment over compliance
You read a brief, understand why the task exists, and deliver something that serves that purpose — not just what was literally asked. If two of three suppliers don't ship to Switzerland, you flag it without being asked.
First-time accuracy
Work gets checked, not rebuilt. You proofread your own output and verify context before submitting. You don't deliver something you haven't checked yourself.
Follow-through
Outreach that stops at one unanswered email is not outreach. You follow up until there's a real answer. You track what's open and close it.
Experience in outreach
Experience managing external communications on behalf of someone else
Nice to Have
Good design taste — the ability to give clear, specific feedback on visual work
Experience managing external communications on behalf of someone else
Background in a startup, agency, or consulting environment
Experience in speaker outreach, PR, or media coordination
German or Russian knowledge will help
It’s not a good fit if:
You need tasks broken into micro-steps
You submit work without checking it
It’s hard for you to follow-up with people
AI tools and experimentation is not something you have time for
Direct feedback or intense communication over busy periods are hard
What Success Looks Like
