1 Full-time (with Benefits) Sales Associate Position available

COBS Bread is growing, and we’re looking for a Full-time Sales Associate to join our team. As a Sales Assistant at COBS Bread, you will:
Work as part of a small team, providing exceptional customer service, and getting to know your regular customers
Be responsible for merchandising product and executing marketing campaigns
Also work alongside your team to keep the bakery clean, and assist with production as needed
Compensation starts at $19.00/hour or higher (based on experience). Full-time employees (30 hours/week minimum) are eligible for benefits after 90 days. Flexible hours are available. Please note that the bakery is open 7 days a week and you must be available to work shifts between the hours of 6 am and 6pm including Sundays and Holidays and you will be required to work at least one shift every weekend and on statutory holidays. Schedule will be based on times that work for both you and the bakery but as part of the team you must be able to work weekends and holidays. Fulltime shifts typically start at 6 am - 2pm or 10 am - 6:30pm.

Requirements
What we are looking for in a successful candidate:
Strong customer service focus and ability to multitask
Experience in handling cash, credit card and debit transactions are preferred
Relevant retail experience is a strong asset
Positive attitude, high energy, smile all day, and friendly demeanour
Reliability and self-motivation, and enjoy learning new skills
A team player who is approachable, social and enjoys working with people
Takes pride in providing a great and personable experience for our customers
Must have their own transportation to and from work
Only non-smoker / non-vaping candidates will be considered
Physical Requirements
Continuous standing/ walking for all tasks
Constant use of both hands, and frequent forceful gripping
Continually operating the POS tablet system
Frequent lifting and carrying up to 10 kg, reaching below shoulder level, bending and turning
Occasional lifting and carrying up to 22 kg, pushing, pulling, crouching, bending and reaching above shoulder level
