About the Role
We are looking for a Full Stack Engineer who is passionate about building modern, scalable, and high-performance web applications.
You will work across the entire application stack—from responsive React/Next.js interfaces to Node.js services, databases, caching, real-time communication, and WebRTC-based systems.
This role is particularly suitable for engineers who enjoy working with TypeScript, modern JavaScript ecosystems, distributed systems, real-time applications, and monorepo architectures.
You will be involved in designing new features, developing APIs, optimizing application performance, integrating third-party services, writing tests, reviewing code, and maintaining production systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable full-stack web applications.
- Build modern, responsive, and accessible user interfaces using React and Next.js.
- Develop type-safe backend services and APIs using Node.js and TypeScript.
- Design and implement APIs using oRPC and RESTful principles where appropriate.
- Work within a Turborepo-based monorepo architecture and maintain shared packages across applications.
- Design and optimize PostgreSQL database schemas, queries, indexes, and migrations.
- Use Redis for caching, sessions, pub/sub, rate limiting, queues, and other high-performance workloads.
- Build real-time features using Socket.IO and event-driven architectures.
- Develop and integrate WebRTC-based communication systems.
- Work with mediasoup and/or LiveKit for real-time audio/video communication, conferencing, streaming, or related features.
- Integrate external APIs, SDKs, authentication providers, payment systems, and other third-party services.
- Implement secure authentication, authorization, validation, rate limiting, and other application security practices.
- Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks across frontend, backend, database, and network layers.
- Write clean, maintainable, reusable, and testable code.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to engineering standards.
- Write technical documentation and maintain clear project documentation.
- Debug production issues and contribute to incident resolution.
- Collaborate with product owners, designers, and other engineers to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Continuously evaluate and adopt appropriate modern development practices and tools.
Required Technical Skills
Frontend
- Strong proficiency in TypeScript and modern JavaScript.
- Strong experience with React.js.
- Solid experience with Next.js, including server-side rendering, routing, server components, API integration, and performance optimization.
- Strong understanding of HTML5, CSS3, responsive design, and accessibility.
- Experience with modern frontend tooling and package management.
- Familiarity with component-driven development and reusable UI architecture.
- Understanding of frontend performance optimization and browser APIs.
Backend
- Strong experience with Node.js.
- Strong proficiency in TypeScript for backend development.
- Experience designing and developing scalable APIs.
- Experience with oRPC or strong understanding of type-safe RPC/API architectures.
- Solid understanding of RESTful API design and HTTP.
- Experience with authentication and authorization systems.
- Understanding of asynchronous programming, event-driven architecture, and background processing.
- Familiarity with API validation, error handling, logging, and observability.
Monorepo & Architecture
- Experience working with Turborepo or similar monorepo tooling.
- Understanding of monorepo architecture and workspace-based package management.
- Ability to design and maintain shared TypeScript packages.
- Experience sharing types, utilities, UI components, API contracts, and configurations across applications.
- Understanding of modular architecture and separation of concerns.
Database
- Strong experience with PostgreSQL.
- Solid understanding of relational database design.
- Experience writing optimized SQL queries.
- Understanding of indexes, transactions, constraints, relationships, and migrations.
- Experience with an ORM or database toolkit such as Drizzle ORM, Prisma, or similar.
- Understanding of database performance optimization.
Redis & Distributed Systems
- Practical experience with Redis.
- Understanding of caching strategies and cache invalidation.
- Familiarity with Redis Pub/Sub.
- Experience with queues, rate limiting, distributed locks, sessions, or similar Redis-based systems is a plus.
- Basic understanding of distributed systems and horizontal scalability.
Real-Time Systems
- Experience building real-time applications using Socket.IO or WebSockets.
- Understanding of connection management, rooms, events, reconnection, and real-time state synchronization.
- Experience designing event-driven systems is highly desirable.
WebRTC & Real-Time Media
- Strong interest or practical experience with WebRTC.
- Understanding of peer-to-peer communication, ICE, STUN, TURN, SDP, and media tracks.
- Experience with mediasoup is highly desirable.
- Experience with LiveKit is highly desirable.
- Understanding of SFU-based architectures and real-time audio/video systems is a strong advantage.
- Experience working with video conferencing, live streaming, screen sharing, recording, or real-time communication systems is a plus.
DevOps & Engineering Practices
- Strong understanding of Git and collaborative Git workflows.
- Familiarity with Linux-based development environments.
- Understanding of environment configuration and deployment workflows.
- Familiarity with Docker and containerized development is a plus.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines is a plus.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, Azure, or similar is a plus.
- Understanding of application monitoring, logging, and basic observability practices is a plus.
Software Engineering Skills
- Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
- Ability to understand complex technical requirements and break them into manageable tasks.
- Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, and software design principles.
- Knowledge of SOLID principles and clean code practices.
- Ability to write unit, integration, and end-to-end tests.
- Understanding of secure software development practices.
- Ability to work with existing codebases and improve them incrementally.
- Strong attention to code quality, maintainability, and performance.

Qualifications
