Role Description This is a part-time, remote Financial Analyst role focused on supporting values-aligned financial decision-making and planning. Day-to-day responsibilities include analyzing financial data, preparing reports, and contributing to short- and long-term financial planning. The role involves reviewing budgets, monitoring financial performance, and identifying trends or risks to support leadership in making informed decisions. The Financial Analyst will summarize findings in clear, accessible formats and communicate recommendations to internal stakeholders. Collaboration with other team members on special projects and continuous improvement of financial processes is also expected.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong skills in Finance and Financial Planning to support budgeting, forecasting, and investment analysis.
Candidates should possess solid Analytical Skills for interpreting financial data, identifying trends, and supporting data-driven recommendations.
Candidates should possess experience in Financial Reporting, including preparing clear, accurate, and timely financial statements and summaries.
Candidates should possess effective Communication skills to present complex financial information in a concise and understandable manner.
Relevant academic background in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field is beneficial.
Proficiency with spreadsheets and financial analysis tools, as well as attention to detail and strong organizational skills, is preferred.
Ability to work independently in a remote environment while maintaining confidentiality and ethical standards is important.
