Role Description The Vice President of Development Strategy is a full-time remote role responsible for designing and leading ANL’s development and growth initiatives. This position oversees strategic planning for fundraising and capital development, including developing long-term giving programs, annual funding campaigns, and philanthropic partnerships that support the company’s mission and expansion goals. Day-to-day responsibilities include analyzing market opportunities, setting development targets, managing budgets related to development activities, and coordinating cross-functional project teams to deliver aligned initiatives. The role involves building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders, preparing strategic reports and presentations for senior leadership, and ensuring that all development activities are compliant, effective, and aligned with ANL’s objectives. The Vice President of Development Strategy also mentors team members, establishes performance metrics, and continuously evaluates and optimizes development strategies.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong expertise in Planned Giving and Philanthropy to design and manage long-term funding and partnership strategies.
Candidates should possess solid experience in Annual Giving and fundraising program management to drive recurring support and sustained development pipelines.
Candidates should possess advanced skills in Budgeting and financial planning to allocate resources effectively and monitor development-related expenditures.
Candidates should possess proven Project Management capabilities to coordinate complex initiatives, align stakeholders, and deliver results on time and within scope.
Extensive experience in development strategy, fundraising leadership, or corporate growth roles within financial services or related industries.
Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and decision-making skills, with the ability to interpret financial and market data to inform development plans.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present complex strategies to executive leadership and external partners.
Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a remote environment, manage cross-functional teams, and collaborate across cultures and locations.
Relevant advanced degree (e.g., MBA, Finance, Business Administration, or related field
