Manufacturing Technician

Position Summary
We are seeking a Manufacturing Technician to perform a variety of tasks while working onsite at our Hyannis, MA location.
Key Responsibilities
OBJECTIVES
Rework product to meet production goals.
Work with Operations to track and ensure completion of rework objectives.
Assist the supply chain personnel with activities related to reworking components.
DUTIES
Follow written procedures.
Perform repetitive tasks.
Utilize manual dexterity and strong attention to detail.
Companion rework. Load software and update firmware on our companion modules.
Thermostat conversion.
Keypad conversion
Build power distribution units
Computer skills – learn Salesforce
Pressing buttons into keypads.
This person will also be trained to learn shipping duties, which you will do a few hours per day.
Printing labels & quick reference guides QRG’s.
TECHNOLOGY
Home Automation / Smart Home technology products such as: Smart Light Bulbs, Smart Electrical Plugs, Smart Thermostats, Smart Keypads.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
Indoors, very clean, quiet, temperature controlled.
A combination of sitting and standing in the performance of job duties.

Required Qualifications
Basic computer skills
Ability to work independently
Ability to handle multiple priorities.
Attention to detail and ability to perform consistent operations.
Experience working in a production environment is a plus, but not necessary. We will train.
Good communication skills to identify any issues.
Comfortable working with Apple iOS devices.
Ability to lift 25 pounds.
COMPENSATION
The pay range is $22 - $25 per hour DOE. The pay range listed is an estimate. Pay at Savant is determined by multiple factors including, but not limited to, a candidate’s geographical location, relevant education, experience and skills and an evaluation of internal pay equity.
