About the Role
AAVIL INC is immediately hiring a skilled Cloud Engineer – AWS & Azure to join our Cloud and AI Engineering team.
We are specifically looking for professionals with strong hands-on experience working with both Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Microsoft Azure. Candidates who are available to join immediately or at short notice will be given preference.
The ideal candidate will be a hands-on cloud engineer who can design, build, automate, secure, and support enterprise cloud platforms while helping clients adopt modern cloud, AI, DevOps, and cross-cloud architectures.
Responsibilities
Design, build, deploy, and manage cloud solutions across AWS and Microsoft Azure.
Serve as a hands-on cloud engineering expert with a focus on security, scalability, reliability, performance, and operational excellence.
Design and implement multi-cloud and hybrid-cloud architectures.
Build cloud infrastructure and services using Infrastructure as Code.
Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines and DevOps automation.
Work with AWS services including EC2, S3, Lambda, EKS, ECS, IAM, VPC, API Gateway, CloudWatch, Bedrock, and related services.
Work with Azure services including Azure VMs, AKS, Functions, Storage, Key Vault, Azure DevOps, Entra ID, Azure Monitor, and related cloud services.
Build and support APIs, microservices, containers, serverless applications, and distributed cloud workloads.
Implement cloud security controls, IAM policies, role-based access, network security, logging, monitoring, and governance.
Support cloud migration and modernization initiatives.
Build integrations between AWS, Azure, SaaS platforms, APIs, and enterprise applications.
Explore and implement new cloud technologies and architecture patterns.
Support AI and Generative AI initiatives using services such as Amazon Bedrock, Azure AI Foundry/Azure OpenAI, AI agents, and MCP-based architectures.
Prototype and pilot AI-enabled applications and intelligent agents within secure enterprise cloud environments.
Implement model access controls, logging, monitoring, governance, and usage tracking for AI workloads.
Partner with application, data, AI, DevOps, security, and architecture teams.
Troubleshoot complex cloud infrastructure, networking, application, and integration issues.
Establish and maintain cloud engineering standards, reusable patterns, and best practices.
Maintain architecture diagrams, technical documentation, implementation guides, and operational procedures.
Mentor engineers and help teams adopt modern cloud engineering practices.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, MIS, or a related field.
5+ years of overall engineering or technology experience.
3+ years of hands-on cloud engineering experience.
Strong hands-on experience with both AWS and Microsoft Azure is mandatory.
Experience designing and implementing enterprise-grade cloud solutions.
Strong understanding of cloud architecture, networking, security, IAM, monitoring, and governance.
Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as:
Terraform
AWS CloudFormation
Azure Bicep / ARM Templates
Experience with CI/CD and DevOps tools such as:
Azure DevOps
GitHub Actions
Jenkins
AWS CodePipeline
Experience with Docker and Kubernetes, including EKS and/or AKS.
Strong understanding of APIs, REST services, microservices, and distributed application architectures.
Experience with scripting/programming using Python, PowerShell, Bash, or similar technologies.
Strong cloud troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively across cross-functional teams.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to communicate with technical teams, business stakeholders, customers, and senior leadership.
Strong documentation and knowledge-transfer capabilities.

Key Requirement
Candidates must have practical experience working with BOTH AWS and Microsoft Azure. Profiles with experience in only one cloud platform will not be considered for this role.

You should be comfortable taking a business or technical requirement, designing the architecture, building a proof of concept, automating the infrastructure, securing the environment, and helping move the solution toward production.
