Role Description The Graphic Design Intern is a full-time, remote role based in Nigeria. The intern will support the design team by creating visual assets for digital and print materials, including social media graphics, presentations, and marketing collateral. The intern will also work closely with the marketing and communications team and receive mentorship while building a professional portfolio.
Day-to-day tasks include assisting with flyers and brand identity development, preparing layouts and templates, and editing images to align with brand guidelines. The intern will collaborate with various departments to translate concepts into compelling visuals, participate in brainstorming sessions, and help maintain a consistent visual style across all Stardom Academia International Consults projects.
Qualifications
A portfolio or 2 to 5 sample designs is required.
Ability to meet deadlines and manage tasks independently.
Familiarity with Figma is a plus (optional).
Candidates should possess skills in Graphics and Graphic Design for creating effective visual content across digital and print channels.
Candidates should possess skills in Logo Design and Branding to support the development and refinement of brand identities.
Candidates should possess skills in Image Editing to enhance, retouch, and optimize visuals for various media formats.
Familiarity with design tools such as Adobe Photoshop, Canva, Illustrator, or similar software is beneficial.
Strong attention to detail, creativity, and the ability to follow brand guidelines are important.
Good communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to receive and implement feedback constructively.
Relevant coursework or prior project experience in graphic design or related fields is an advantage.
