Restaurant Onboarding Specialist

Take restaurants live.
Garde is the financial backbone for independent restaurants: accounting and bookkeeping, with a full software suite for inventory, payroll, scheduling and reporting, all in one place. We gather and centralise a restaurant's data, clean it up and build their financials, analyse those financials to uncover opportunities, then give them the workflows and software to act on it.
Restaurants sign with us and expect to be live in 45 days. You are the person who makes that true.

What you'll do
Kick off each new client, set the plan and the go-live date, and move them through our twelve stages on time.
Collect menus, recipes, vendor lists, invoices, count sheets and POS exports, clean them, and load them into Garde. Accuracy is the job. A wrong unit conversion shows up as a wrong food cost.
Understand how every dollar moves through the restaurant, and help them introduce procedures that give proper control and clean data.
Migrate them off their old accounting, POS and inventory platforms, and confirm nothing was left behind.
Run our items, vendor and recipe audits before go-live, and fix what they find.
Teach managers and kitchen staff to count, scan invoices and read the numbers. Run the first count and the first month's close with them.
Keep client stages, milestones and notes current, so the rest of the team and our AI teammates can act on them.
Who fits this role
Two or more years in restaurant operations, restaurant accounting, or implementing software for restaurants.
Comfortable in a spreadsheet with thousands of rows, inconsistent units and three names for the same item.
Organised enough to run many onboardings at once, dozens as we grow, and to know which one is at risk before anyone asks.
Personable and reliable. You will spend hours on video with owners, GMs and line cooks, and they need to be able to count on you.
Curious about AI tooling and ready to learn. You do not need to code.
Nice to have
Bookkeeping experience, QuickBooks Online or month-end close.
Experience with Toast, Square, Chowbus or similar POS onboarding.
Mandarin, Cantonese, Spanish or Korean, given who our clients are.
