Position Summary
GCX Healthcare is a global leader in medical device mounting, mobility, power, and workflow solutions that help healthcare organizations optimize technology investments and improve clinical workflows.
The Regional Sales Manager I is responsible for achieving an assigned regional revenue quota by expanding existing customer relationships and developing new business throughout Arizona, Colorado, Hawaii, Nevada, and Utah. This position must be based in the Denver, Colorado, area and will serve as the primary commercial owner for assigned accounts across the territory.
The Regional Sales Manager will manage customer relationships and sales opportunities from initial identification through commercial commitment. The role works closely with healthcare IT, Clinical Engineering, Nursing Informatics, Supply Chain, and executive stakeholders to understand customer needs and deliver solutions that improve clinical workflows and patient care.
Key Responsibilities
Build and maintain strong relationships with healthcare IT, clinical, operational, supply chain, and executive leaders.
Manage assigned Strategic and Growth accounts throughout Arizona, Colorado, Hawaii, Nevada, and Utah, with clear ownership and accountability.
Expand GCX’s share of business within existing accounts while identifying and winning new customers across hospitals, health systems, and integrated delivery networks.
Develop strategic territory and account plans, identify untapped opportunities, and support customer standardization initiatives.
Support customer initiatives involving clinical mobility, virtual nursing, telehealth, patient monitoring, and workflow optimization.
Build and maintain a healthy sales pipeline sufficient to achieve territory revenue and growth objectives.
Maintain timely and accurate CRM records, including account activity, opportunities, pipeline stages, next steps, expected close dates, and forecasts.
Partner with the Regional Sales Director through regular coaching, opportunity reviews, territory planning, and pipeline discussions.
Pursue large strategic opportunities in partnership with the Regional Sales Director and other internal subject-matter experts while maintaining ownership of the customer relationship.
Transition qualifying implementations to Project Management for post-sale fulfillment, onboarding, and go-live support while remaining appropriately engaged with the customer.
Coordinate direct and channel sales activities with the Channel Manager and other internal teams to ensure clear responsibilities and successful customer outcomes.
Communicate customer workflow, clinical, and technology insights to Marketing, Product Management, and Engineering.
Consistently achieve assigned territory quota, revenue growth, and new-business objectives.
Preferred Experience
Experience selling to or working with hospitals, health systems, or integrated delivery networks.
Experience engaging CIOs, CTOs, CMIOs, CNIOs, Clinical Engineering teams, and executive healthcare leaders.
Experience with enterprise account management and strategic healthcare sales.
Demonstrated success expanding existing accounts and developing new-logo business.
Strong territory planning, forecasting, pipeline development, and business development skills.
Experience coordinating direct and channel sales activities within assigned accounts or territories.
Knowledge of healthcare technology deployments, digital transformation initiatives, medical devices, or clinical workflow solutions.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
One to three years of sales experience, preferably in healthcare technology, medical devices, capital equipment, or healthcare IT.
Demonstrated ability to achieve or exceed sales quotas.
Strong communication, presentation, negotiation, and consultative selling skills.
Ability to build relationships with stakeholders at multiple levels of an organization.
Proficiency with CRM platforms and Microsoft Office.
Strong organizational skills and consistent attention to pipeline, opportunity, and forecast accuracy.
Must be based in the Denver, Colorado, area.
Valid driver’s license and ability to travel throughout the assigned territory.
Travel and Customer Engagement
This is a field-based position requiring regular travel throughout Arizona, Colorado, Hawaii, Nevada, and Utah. Travel will include customer visits, industry events, territory meetings, and internal company meetings.
