Role Description The VP of Leadership Development is a full-time remote role responsible for designing and driving leadership development strategy across Women in Automotive’s programs and partnerships. This role oversees the creation and delivery of leadership curricula, workshops, coaching frameworks, and development pathways tailored to professionals at different career stages within the automotive sector. The VP will conduct needs analysis with stakeholders, consult with member organizations and industry partners, and align programs to organizational goals and inclusion objectives. Day-to-day responsibilities include managing program calendars, guiding facilitators and coaches, evaluating program outcomes, and refining content based on participant feedback and industry trends. The role collaborates closely with executive leadership, marketing, and community engagement teams to ensure leadership initiatives are visible, accessible, and impactful for women and allies across the automotive ecosystem.
Qualifications
Demonstrated expertise in Leadership Development, including designing and implementing leadership programs and frameworks.
Strong skills in Needs Analysis and Consulting to assess organizational requirements and recommend effective development solutions.
Experience in Training design and delivery, including workshops, webinars, and coaching initiatives for diverse professional audiences.
Knowledge of Succession Planning and talent pipeline management, especially in complex or evolving industries.
Proven ability to advance diversity, equity, and inclusion through leadership development initiatives.
Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence at senior levels.
Strategic thinking combined with data-driven decision-making to evaluate program effectiveness and improve outcomes.
Experience working in or with the automotive industry or related sectors is beneficial.
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Business, Psychology, or a related field; advanced degree or relevant certifications (e.g., coaching, L&D) are a plus.
Comfort working in a remote environment, with strong self-management, collaboration, and digital communication skills.
