Pay Range: $95,000 - $135,000
Individual compensation is determined based on several factors, including job-related skills and qualifications, education, relevant experience, work location, internal equity considerations, and the overall responsibilities of the position.
Job Summary
The MDM IT Application Developer designs, develops, configures, tests, deploys, administers, and maintains Master Data Management (MDM) platform solutions under established technical standards and with guidance on complex work.
Supports reliable day-to-day operation of MDM applications by delivering defined configurations, workflows, business rules, integrations, defect corrections, and technical documentation. Works from approved requirements and designs, follows application lifecycle, change management, security, and development standards, and escalates design decisions or risks that exceed assigned scope. Troubleshoots routine incidents and contributes to enhancements that improve data quality, platform stability, and user experience.
Responsibilities
Essential functions
Configures and develops assigned MDM application components, workflows, business rules, user interfaces, and integrations using approved requirements, designs, and standards.
Implements routine data import, export, file-based, and API integration changes with guidance on complex mappings, dependencies, and design decisions.
Translates well-defined business and technical requirements into application configurations and code, seeking clarification or review when requirements are incomplete or impacts extend beyond assigned scope.
Troubleshoots routine application incidents and defects, performs root-cause analysis within assigned components, implements corrections, and escalates complex or cross-system issues.
Creates and executes unit, integration, and regression test cases for assigned changes and documents results to confirm expected functionality and prevent unintended impacts.
Prepares and maintains technical documentation for assigned configurations, code, integrations, deployment steps, support procedures, and defect corrections.
Supports scheduled releases and application deployments by following established lifecycle, source control, change management, and rollback procedures.
Monitors assigned application processes and jobs, responds to alerts and support requests, and assists with maintaining reliable day-to-day platform operations.
Collaborates with senior developers, analysts, data specialists, infrastructure teams, and vendors to deliver defined work and resolve technical issues.
Follows established enterprise application design, coding, security, data governance, and documentation standards; raises identified risks or exceptions for review.
Participates in estimation, sprint planning, stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives, and communicates progress, blockers, and risks for assigned work.
Contributes ideas for incremental improvements to application quality, supportability, performance, and user experience within the assigned area.

Non-essential Functions
Participates, creates, contributes and/or facilitates ongoing training for application functionality, best practice, and lunch and learn topic-related training in correlation with job duties.
Maintains business continuity and disaster recovery test documentation as it relates to the functional area(s).

Qualifications
4-year STEM degree or equivalent experience.
Minimum 2 years of application development, configuration, or integration experience in an agile environment.
Working knowledge of JavaScript, XML, JSON, REST APIs, regular expressions, and source control concepts.
Ability to implement approved technical specifications in an MDM application.
Understanding of software development lifecycle, testing, deployment, incident management, security, and change control practices.
Ability to read, write, and speak in English required.
Experience with Stibo STEP architecture, data models, workflows, Web UI, business rules, and integrations preferred.
SAP and enterprise integration experience preferred.
