Salary Range: $125K-$160K, depending on experience
Hugo Parker, a dynamic, fast paced and growing litigation law firm, is seeking a talented litigation attorney to join our team of professionals. We are a small but highly effective firm that values collaboration, client advocacy, and professional growth. We specialize in defense litigation in the areas of personal injury, products liability, construction defect, toxic torts, including asbestos and silicosis, environmental law, writs and appeals. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, computer-savvy; must be a self-starter and have excellent writing skills.
Responsibilities:
• Handle all aspects of litigation, including case strategy, pleadings, discovery, depositions, motion practice, and trial preparation
• Conduct legal research and draft persuasive motions, briefs, and memoranda
• Represent clients in court hearings, mediations, and arbitrations
• Manage client relationships and provide strategic legal counsel
• Work closely with partners and colleagues on case strategy and trial preparation
Qualifications:
• Juris Doctorate degree and current good standing with CA State bar.
• Minimum 2 of years’ experience in civil litigation.
• Strong legal research, writing, and advocacy skills
• Ability to handle multiple cases and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills
• A proactive and client-focused approach to legal representation
