Role Description
This is an exciting opportunity to join and help grow enSYNC's expanding Sage Intacct consulting practice as an accounting systems implementation consultant. The successful candidate will play a key role in shaping implementation methodologies, client success strategies, and the future growth of our ERP services. You will serve as a trusted advisor to CFOs, Controllers, Executive Directors, and finance teams, helping organizations improve processes, reporting, and decision-making through technology.
In this role, you will lead end-to-end software implementation projects, including requirements gathering, system configuration, testing, and deployment. This role combines accounting knowledge, consulting expertise, project management, solutions configuration, training, and client relationship management. You will engage in consulting with clients to understand their unique needs, provide tailored solutions, and ensure seamless adoption of Sage Intacct. Additional responsibilities include supporting the sales team, creating project plans, troubleshooting use cases, and delivering training and support to client teams.
This is a remote role. Occasional travel (less than 10% anticipated) may be required for client or staff meetings, conferences, and implementation activities.
Qualifications
Strong Analytical and Problem-Solving skills to identify and address client needs
Experience leading software implementation projects from discovery through go-live, including ERP implementations, accounting software consulting or financial systems experience
Strong understanding of General Ledger, AP, AR, reporting, budgeting, and month-end close process
Proficiency in Software Implementation and customization
Knowledge of Project Implementation, including planning and execution
Excellent Communication skills for client interaction, presentations, and training
Proven ability to work in a team and deliver high-quality results under deadlines
Bachelor’s degree in in Accounting, Finance, Business, Information Systems, or a related field is preferred
Experience with Sage Intacct (Sage Intacct certifications preferred) or similar accounting software is highly desirable
Familiarity with the nonprofit sector or experience working with nonprofit organizations is a plus
