Role: Senior Growth & Acquisition Specialist
About FANN
FANN is building a provenance-first marketplace and ecosystem for physical art.
TryFANN is the current pre-launch participation and founding-access route for artists, collectors, galleries and other relevant art-market stakeholders. GCC and MENA are important strategic areas of focus.
FANN is still in a pre-launch stage. Applicants should not assume that planned marketplace capabilities, acquisition channels or operating processes have already been proven at scale.
Role objective
We are looking for a senior, execution-focused Growth and Acquisition Specialist to design, implement and improve a measurable acquisition system for FANN and TryFANN.
This is not simply a social-media management or content-posting position.
The role is expected to connect strategy, channel execution, funnel performance, lifecycle activity and reporting to qualified acquisition and activation outcomes.
The engagement structure and final scope will be agreed with the selected candidate. Agencies should apply through the separate agency application route rather than treating this as an employee application.
Core responsibilities
Research FANN, TryFANN, the physical-art ecosystem and relevant GCC/MENA audiences.
Develop a practical 30-, 60- and 90-day growth and acquisition plan.
Identify and prioritize the most appropriate organic and paid acquisition channels.
Plan and execute growth initiatives across relevant channels, including LinkedIn, Instagram/Meta, content, partnerships, referrals and community activity.
Develop role-specific acquisition approaches for artists, collectors, galleries and other approved audiences.
Improve the journey from initial awareness to qualified interest, registration, authenticated login and role-appropriate activation.
Design and optimize landing-page, lead-generation and conversion funnels.
Support CRM segmentation, lifecycle communication and follow-up strategies.
Propose paid-acquisition tests with clear budgets, hypotheses, controls and stopping rules.
Establish channel attribution and reporting methods before claiming results.
Run structured experiments and document what should be continued, changed, held or stopped.
Produce concise weekly reporting covering outcomes, costs, funnel movement, risks and required decisions.
Work closely with FANN’s leadership, product and content stakeholders.
Accountability and KPIs
Shortlisted candidates will be expected to propose realistic numerical targets based on the available baseline, budget, product stage, resources and access.
Depending on the agreed scope, the KPI framework may include:
Qualified leads
Valid TryFANN registrations
Role-appropriate activation
Qualified artist and collector acquisition
Qualified gallery leads or conversations
Cost per qualified lead
Cost per acquisition
Landing-page and registration conversion rates
Funnel progression and drop-off
Organic versus paid acquisition
Channel attribution
Retention or activation signals
Reach, impressions, followers, engagement and posting frequency may be useful diagnostic signals, but they will not be treated as sufficient acquisition outcomes.
Required experience
Demonstrable experience in growth strategy, customer or user acquisition, performance marketing or conversion optimization.
Evidence of measurable outcomes from previous work.
Ability to translate strategy into hands-on execution.
Strong understanding of funnel design, analytics, reporting and attribution.
Experience developing realistic targets from incomplete or early-stage data.
Ability to distinguish assumptions, experiments and verified results.
Clear written communication and disciplined reporting.
Comfort operating in a pre-launch or early-stage environment.
Relevant experience in marketplaces, ArtTech, physical art, luxury, collectibles, startups, two-sided platforms, creator communities, professional communities, or GCC/MENA markets is valuable but not mandatory.
What this role is not
This is not a role for someone whose offer ends with:
A content calendar
A fixed number of weekly posts
Generic awareness campaigns
Follower-growth promises
Impressions without attribution
Reports that do not connect activity to acquisition or activation
Application requirements
Before applying, research FANN, TryFANN and the relevant public presence.
Your application should include:
A short introduction and confirmation of what you would personally own.
Two relevant case studies with measurable and verifiable outcomes.
Your initial acquisition thesis for FANN and TryFANN.
Your proposed 30-, 60- and 90-day priorities.
The channels you would prioritize—and those you would initially avoid.
A realistic KPI framework with assumptions, dependencies and required budget.
Your preferred engagement or commercial model.
Links to evidence of previous results.
Generic CVs, agency decks or messages such as “We can grow your social media” will not be sufficient.
Selection process
Research FANN and TryFANN → submit a thoughtful application → evidence and fit evaluation → shortlist → strategy and qualification meeting → scope, KPI, budget and attribution alignment → potential engagement.
Only shortlisted applicants whose evidence, thinking and proposed approach meet the required level will be invited to a meeting.
