Role Description This remote iOS Developer internship role involves contributing to the design, development, and maintenance of iOS applications. Interns collaborate with senior developers to implement new features, fix bugs, and optimize app performance using Swift and related Apple frameworks. Day-to-day tasks include writing clean, testable code, participating in code reviews, documenting technical decisions, and assisting with app store submissions and updates. The role also includes working with product and design teams to refine requirements, testing applications on various devices, and learning best practices in mobile application development and software engineering.
Qualifications
Strong foundation in Mobile Application Development and Mobile Applications, with an interest in building user-focused mobile experiences.
Hands-on experience or coursework in iOS Development and iOS frameworks (e.g., Swift, UIKit, SwiftUI, Core Data).
Basic understanding of Software Development principles, including version control (Git), debugging, and testing.
Familiarity with Xcode and the Apple development ecosystem, including app deployment and provisioning.
Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
Ability to work independently in a remote setting, manage time effectively, and communicate clearly with distributed teams.
Problem-solving mindset, willingness to learn, and openness to feedback in a fast-paced environment.
Experience with RESTful APIs, JSON, and integrating backend services into mobile apps is a plus.
