CTG's long-standing Fortune 500 client of over 15 years has a W2 contract assignment for a Mechanical Engineer.

Location: Remote with 80% travel both domestic and international

Description
The Integrator Support – Mechanical role provides hands-on mechanical oversight and technical support across multiple integrator sites to ensure equipment is fabricated, installed, and commissioned according to design requirements. This position supports fabrication quality, mechanical issue resolution, development activities, vendor coordination, and consistent engineering standards across project teams.
Requirements:
• Strong mechanical aptitude with experience evaluating mechanical execution, workmanship, and equipment builds
• 7+ years of experience supporting fabrication, assembly, installation, or integration of process manufacturing equipment or automation
• Experience with mechanical troubleshooting, development systems, test beds, and prototype equipment
• Ability to communicate and collaborate effectively with integrators, vendors, and engineering teams across multiple environments
• Understanding of mechanical integration with controls and broader system integration activities
• Ability to travel extensively, including domestic and international travel
Qualifications
• Prior experience supporting equipment fabrication, assembly, installation, integration, or commissioning
• Experience coordinating mechanical activities across multiple integrators or vendor teams
