About the role

Description supplied by the original job listing.

Team Overview:
The Sales team is responsible for driving revenue growth and managing customer relationships across all accounts and territories. The team is made up of Account Executives, sales leadership, and sales operations professionals who work together to identify opportunities, close deals, and support customers throughout the sales cycle. The Sales Operations function provides the analytics, reporting, and enablement resources the team relies on to work efficiently and make informed decisions.
Job Purpose:
The Sales Operations Associate plays a critical role in supporting the sales team by providing analytical insights, performance reporting, and sales support resources that enable Account Executives to maximize revenue opportunities. This position serves as a key partner to the sales organization by delivering timely reporting, identifying product targeting opportunities, and ensuring Account Executives have the information and tools necessary to drive sales success. The role sits within Sales Operations and works closely with sales leadership, Account Executives, and cross-functional teams to keep sales data accurate, insights actionable, and processes running smoothly.
Description of Job Responsibilities:
Serve as the primary point of contact for Account Executives on sales-related documentation, preparing and maintaining call decks, proposal templates, and customer-facing presentations that are accurate, on-brand, and ready to use.
Develop and assemble customer-facing materials, including proposals, pricing summaries, and product one-pagers, tailoring content to the specific account, industry, and stage of the sales cycle.
Field and resolve day-to-day requests from the sales team for account performance data, competitive/market insights, and pipeline status, turning requests around within agreed service-level timeframes.
Own the accuracy and hygiene of pipeline data by auditing open opportunities in the CRM, flagging stale or incomplete records, and working with Account Executives to keep stage, close-date, and forecast fields current.
Build, maintain, and distribute recurring sales performance reports, dashboards, and KPI summaries (e.g., bookings, win rate, average deal size, sales cycle length) for weekly, monthly, and quarterly leadership reviews.
Analyze sales trends, customer activity, and product/revenue performance across accounts and territories, translating raw data into clear narratives and recommendations for sales leadership.
Continuously monitor key sales metrics against targets, proactively surfacing performance gaps or emerging opportunities and escalating risks (e.g., slipping deals, coverage gaps) to leadership before they become critical.
Mine account and usage data to identify cross-sell and up-sell opportunities, and translate those findings into concrete, prioritized targeting lists and outreach recommendations for Account Executives.
Support territory and account prioritization by scoring and ranking prospects/accounts on sales potential (e.g., fit, engagement, revenue opportunity) to help Account Executives focus effort where it will have the most impact.
Partner with sales leadership on go-to-market strategies that maximize product penetration and revenue growth, contributing data-driven input during planning, quota-setting, and territory design cycles.
Conduct market and customer analysis (competitive positioning, buying trends, win/loss patterns) to inform sales planning, campaign targeting, and messaging.
Maintain the accuracy, completeness, and integrity of sales data across the CRM and adjacent reporting systems, performing regular data-quality checks and correcting discrepancies at the source.
Identify and drive process improvement initiatives that streamline sales workflows, recommending enhancements to reporting tools, templates, and CRM configuration to reduce manual work.
Establish and enforce consistent sales documentation and reporting standards across the organization, creating templates and guidelines that Account Executives and sales leadership can rely on.
Requirements:

Understanding of sales processes, pipeline management, and forecasting methodologies
