HARGOS.AI, part of the WELL’D group, develops a cybersecurity SaaS platform combining automated security testing, AI agents, and actionable vulnerability reports.
We help organizations identify, understand, and address vulnerabilities through authorized security assessments.
We’re looking for a Senior Full Stack Engineer with an applied R&D mindset to develop the platform, strengthen its reliability, and progressively own a product and technical domain, working directly with the founder, associates, R&D teams and Customer Success.
Your role
Take features from initial design to production, combining applied research, full-stack development, and operational ownership. You’ll contribute to architecture decisions and the product roadmap while keeping user needs, security, and reliability in focus.
Your responsibilities
Build backend services, APIs, and React/Next.js interfaces for onboarding, security assessments, execution tracking, and reporting.
Improve asynchronous workflows, including orchestration, cancellation, retries, persistence, and resource management.
Design and evaluate AI agents and their tools, focusing on evidence quality, false-positive reduction, reproducibility, latency, and inference costs.
Strengthen SaaS foundations: authentication, authorization, tenant isolation, quotas, usage tracking, and auditability.
Diagnose problems using code, logs, and metrics, then verify fixes in production.
Maintain meaningful tests, CI/CD pipelines, deployment and rollback procedures, and clear technical documentation.
Communicate progress, dependencies, and risks, and propose practical technical improvements.
What we’re looking for :
You’ve shipped and maintained software in production. You can explain your technical decisions, investigate root causes, and demonstrate that your solutions work.
You bring:
Strong proficiency in Python or TypeScript/Node.js, with the ability to work across both.
Experience building modern web interfaces, ideally with React/Next.js.
Solid knowledge of APIs, SQL, testing, and asynchronous processing.
Practical experience integrating AI models or agents, with an evaluation approach that goes beyond demos.
Good application security fundamentals: access control, secrets management, and data protection.
Autonomy, sound prioritization, and clear written communication.
Nice to have: cybersecurity tooling or penetration testing, Kubernetes and GitOps, self-hosted inference and GPUs, Temporal, vector databases, or graph databases.
You don’t need to master our entire stack on day one.

Hiring process
An introductory conversation, a technical session involving architecture discussion and code review or pair programming, followed by a final conversation about responsibilities, expectations, and working arrangements.
We assess reasoning, debugging, verification, security awareness, and communication. No unpaid production work will be requested.
