Role Description This full-time remote Assistant role supports the daily operations of ELLMS FOUNDATION through administrative, coordination, and communication tasks. The Assistant will manage calendars, schedule meetings, organize digital files, and maintain accurate records and documentation. Responsibilities include preparing correspondence and reports, supporting event and project coordination, and assisting with internal and external communications. The role also involves handling basic data entry, tracking project milestones, and collaborating with team members to ensure smooth workflows. The Assistant is expected to work independently, prioritize tasks effectively, and maintain confidentiality and professionalism in all interactions.
Qualifications
Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
Proficiency with office productivity tools (e.g., word processing, spreadsheets, presentation software, email, and online calendars).
Effective written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to prepare clear emails, notes, and basic reports.
Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry, document preparation, and record keeping.
Comfort working remotely, with reliable internet access and the ability to collaborate via virtual tools and platforms.
Demonstrated problem-solving skills, initiative, and a proactive approach to supporting team needs.
Ability to work in a gender-neutral, inclusive, and non-discriminatory environment and interact respectfully with diverse stakeholders.
Previous experience in an administrative or assistant role is beneficial; nonprofit or foundation experience is a plus.
High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education or training in administration, communications, or a related field is an advantage.
