Community members engage through videos, social media discussions, and a dedicated Facebook group, “The Listening Chair.” The platform aims to inform, entertain, and connect enthusiasts worldwide, offering a space to share insights, reviews, and listening experiences.
Role Description The Sales Manager will drive revenue growth by identifying and nurturing business opportunities with advertisers, sponsors, and brand partners in the audio and related industries. This part-time, remote role includes managing the sales pipeline, conducting outreach to potential partners, presenting sponsorship packages, and negotiating agreements. Daily tasks include prospecting leads, maintaining CRM records, preparing proposals, tracking performance metrics, and ensuring strong, long-term partner relationships.
Qualifications
Proven experience in sales management, account management, or business development, ideally in media, advertising, or consumer audio.
Strong skills in prospecting, lead generation, and relationship building with sponsors, advertisers, and brand partners.
Demonstrated ability to develop sales strategies, prepare proposals, and negotiate contracts that meet revenue goals.
Comfort using CRM tools, spreadsheets, and online communication platforms for remote collaboration and reporting.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present value propositions clearly to diverse stakeholders.
Interest in or familiarity with audiophile communities, high-fidelity audio equipment, and digital content platforms is highly beneficial.
Ability to work independently in a remote environment, manage part-time hours effectively, and meet deadlines consistently.
Relevant education or training in sales, marketing, communications, or a related field is an advantage.
