Director of Hospitality

Role Description The Director of Hospitality is a part-time, remote role responsible for overseeing hospitality operations and standards for projects involving hotels, restaurants, and other hospitality-related facilities. Day-to-day tasks include defining service concepts, advising on food service layouts, and coordinating with project teams to ensure hospitality best practices are incorporated into design and operations. The role involves reviewing budgets related to hospitality services, supporting event planning for openings or promotional activities, and collaborating with sales and marketing team members to enhance guest experience strategies. The Director of Hospitality will also monitor customer service feedback, recommend improvements, and develop guidelines and training materials to support hospitality teams on-site.
Qualifications
Experience in Food Service operations and hospitality environments, with the ability to guide service standards and workflows.
Strong Customer Service skills, with a focus on guest satisfaction and service recovery.
Budgeting skills to plan, review, and optimize hospitality-related costs and resources.
Event Management experience to support planning and coordination of openings, promotions, and special events.
Sales skills to collaborate on revenue strategies, upselling opportunities, and guest engagement initiatives.
Proven leadership experience in hospitality, hotel, or restaurant management.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills in remote, cross-functional teams.
Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines in a part-time capacity.
Relevant education or training in hospitality management, business, or a related field is preferred.
