About The Role
What if your deep expertise in machine learning could directly determine how the next generation of AI systems reason, plan, and make decisions? We're looking for Senior Machine Learning Experts to author the high-fidelity reasoning traces that teach large language models how to think — step by step, decision by decision.
This is a fully remote, flexible contract role built for experienced ML practitioners who want to work at the frontier of AI development. Your work won't just support AI research — it will actively shape how models reason through complex, real-world problems.

What You'll Do
Author complex, high-fidelity reasoning traces that capture how an LLM should plan, use tools, and make decisions across sophisticated technical tasks
Design and document structured decision-making workflows that reflect senior-level architectural thinking
Review and provide expert feedback on reasoning traces produced by other contributors to ensure clarity, logical rigor, and quality
Develop data strategies that help LLMs navigate intricate, multi-step real-world scenarios
Collaborate with a global team working directly alongside leading AI research labs
Complete task-based assignments independently and asynchronously on your own schedule
Who You Are
Experienced in machine learning, AI research, or a closely related technical field — you've worked with models at depth, not just in theory
Skilled at decomposing complex problems into clear, structured, logical steps that others can follow and models can learn from
Familiar with advanced LLM evaluation and training methodologies
Detail-oriented and rigorous — you hold yourself to a high standard of technical accuracy
A clear communicator who can translate expert-level reasoning into well-documented, readable traces
Comfortable working independently with minimal supervision in an async environment
Nice to Have
Prior experience with data annotation, data quality assurance, or AI evaluation systems
Top-tier Kaggle competition results (Grandmaster or Master level) demonstrating exceptional model understanding and feature engineering
Background in ML infrastructure, model architecture, or reinforcement learning
Experience mentoring or reviewing technical work produced by other contributors
