About The Role
We're looking for chemistry experts to help train and improve the next generation of AI models. At Alignerr, we partner with the world's leading AI research labs — and we need people who truly understand advanced chemistry to help these models think more accurately and reason more rigorously.
This is a fully remote, flexible contract role. You bring the chemistry knowledge — we'll handle the rest.

Commitment: 10–40 hours/week
What You'll Do
Design challenging, advanced chemistry problems to test and push the limits of AI reasoning
Develop clear, rigorous, step-by-step solutions across domains such as chemical engineering, biochemistry, organic chemistry, and more
Evaluate AI-generated responses for scientific accuracy, logical soundness, and quality of reasoning
Collaborate with researchers to build and refine benchmarks spanning undergraduate through Master's-level chemistry
Work independently and asynchronously on your own schedule
Who You Are
Currently pursuing or have completed a Master's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Biochemistry, or a closely related field
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills across advanced chemistry topics
Able to communicate complex concepts clearly and provide structured, written feedback
Detail-oriented and self-motivated
No prior AI experience required — your chemistry expertise is what matters
Nice to Have
Experience with data annotation, content evaluation, or quality assessment workflows
Familiarity with AI tools or large language models
Background spanning multiple chemistry sub-disciplines
