Video Editor

I’m looking for a Video Editor Intern to work directly with me across my creator content and DIWAR, my design brand.
This isn’t a role where you’ll just be given footage and asked to cut clips.
You’ll work on real content from travel, motorcycles, storytelling, behind-the-scenes, product development and building DIWAR from scratch — and you’ll have a chance to contribute to how the content actually looks and feels.
What you’ll do
Edit Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts and other short-form content
Turn raw footage, scripts and ideas into engaging videos
Work directly with me on storytelling, pacing, hooks, music and sound design
Experiment with different editing styles and creative formats
Help with shooting and organising footage when required
Use AI tools for editing, ideation, image/video generation, captions, audio and creative workflows
Brainstorm content ideas and contribute creatively
Keep project files and footage organised
Stay updated with new editing techniques, trends and AI tools
What I’m looking for
Someone who genuinely loves editing
A strong understanding of Instagram Reels / YouTube Shorts
Good sense of storytelling, pacing, music and sound design
Experience with Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, CapCut or similar
Comfortable experimenting with AI tools
A good eye for composition and detail
Creativity matters more than formal qualifications
A portfolio or previous editing work is strongly preferred
How we’ll select
No long interview process.
Shortlisted candidates will receive a short real-world editing assignment using raw footage similar to what you’ll work with.
We’ll primarily evaluate your:
storytelling • pacing • creativity • music/sound • editing choices • attention to detail
You don’t need to make something overly complicated. Good storytelling > unnecessary effects.
