Field Service Engineer – CNC Machine Tools
Locations: Indiana | Ohio | Pennsylvania | Tennessee | Alabama | New York
Compensation: $80,000–$110,000, depending on experience, skill level, and region
Travel: Regional and domestic travel to customer sites
We are seeking an experienced Field Service Engineer with hands-on CNC machining experience to support customers with the installation, troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of CNC machine tools.
Responsibilities
Install, service, troubleshoot, and repair CNC machines and related equipment.
Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and machining-related issues.
Analyze test cuts and part results to resolve machining problems.
Perform preventative and corrective maintenance.
Support machine installations and customer audits.
Train customers and team members on machine operation and maintenance.
Maintain strong customer relationships and provide clear communication throughout service calls.
Complete service reports and required documentation.
Qualifications
CNC machining experience is required.
Experience with CNC milling machines and/or EDM equipment preferred.
6+ years of experience in CNC machining, machine tools, manufacturing, field service, or a related technical environment.
Strong troubleshooting and mechanical/technical skills.
Excellent customer service and communication abilities.
Valid driver's license and ability to travel as required.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. frequently and work on ladders/heights.
Associate's degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or related technical field preferred; equivalent hands-on experience will be considered.
