We are looking for someone to join our purpose-led high-growth scale-up as a Superannuation Operations Specialist – Incident & Remediation on a six-month fixed-term contract.
This role is an opportunity for someone with experience in superannuation administration to take the next step in their career by moving into Trustee services. You’ll support the Trustee’s approach to incidents, breaches and remediation across the Fund and its service providers. You’ll work with senior Fund Operations colleagues and internal and external stakeholders to assess incidents, understand their impact, support remediation activities and help strengthen processes and controls.
You may already be working in a superannuation Trustee office, or you may be joining us from a superannuation administrator and looking to broaden your experience into governance, oversight and Trustee responsibilities. And the best bit, you’ll get to work with some fantastic work mates!

About The Role
As our Superannuation Operations Specialist – Incident & Remediation, you’ll support the identification, assessment and management of incidents, breaches and remediation activities.
You’ll help gather information, review incident assessments, analyse root causes and support the assessment of impacts on members, the Fund and financial outcomes. You’ll also assist with reviewing remediation proposals, tracking agreed actions and ensuring matters are documented and followed through appropriately.
Working with internal teams and service providers, you’ll help identify recurring issues, emerging risks and opportunities to improve controls and processes. You’ll contribute to incident reporting, governance activities and the delivery of fair, timely and well-documented remediation outcomes for members.

We're looking for someone who
Has experience in superannuation, particularly understanding Trustee obligations, with exposure to incidents, errors, breaches, remediation or operational risk.
Understands how errors or process failures can affect members, financial outcomes and Trustee obligations.
Has experience investigating issues, gathering information, identifying root causes and tracking corrective actions.
Ideally has experience working in a superannuation Trustee office, or has worked closely with a Trustee, RSE licensee or service-provider oversight function.
Has strong analytical, organisational, written and verbal communication skills.
Can interpret information, identify inconsistencies and maintain clear and accurate records.
Is comfortable working with administrators, insurers, service providers and internal stakeholders.
Has RG146 or is willing to undertake the relevant training where required for the role.
Believes in Future Group’s mission and has a passion for moving Australia’s money out of fossil fuels and into renewable energy.
Believes in using the power of money to build a sustainable and equitable world.
Some nice-to-haves but are not essential are:
Experience supporting incident, breach or remediation assessments.
Exposure to superannuation legislation, APRA or ASIC requirements.
Experience with risk registers, governance reporting, root cause analysis or control improvement.
