Role Description The Finance Specialist will manage and analyze financial data to support informed decision-making and operational efficiency. Day-to-day responsibilities include preparing, reviewing, and reconciling financial statements, monitoring accounts, and assisting with budgeting, forecasting, and cost analysis. The role also involves supporting accounting activities, ensuring compliance with relevant financial standards, and preparing reports for internal stakeholders and management. The Finance Specialist will collaborate with cross-functional teams to clarify financial insights and support strategic initiatives. This is a full-time, on-site role based in the Greater Kolkata Area.
Qualifications
Strong Finance and Accounting skills, including experience with general ledger activities and budget management.
Ability to prepare, analyze, and interpret Financial Statements and related reports.
Demonstrated Analytical Skills for evaluating financial data, identifying trends, and supporting decision-making.
Effective Communication skills for conveying financial insights clearly to both financial and non-financial stakeholders.
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field; professional certifications (e.g., CA, CMA, CFA) are a plus.
Proficiency in spreadsheet tools and finance or ERP software; strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to work on-site in the Greater Kolkata Area and collaborate in a team-oriented environment.
Experience in manufacturing, export, or metals/commodities sectors is an advantage.
