STRATEGIC DIRECTION & BRAND PRIORITIES
Develop and deliver the regional marketing strategy aligned to national priorities and local opportunities.
Use deep consumer, regional and competitor insights to drive idea generation, product understanding and brand image.
Partner closely with Sales to deliver strong local commercial outcomes, distribution growth, and in-market execution.
Support growth in the university channel through programs that drive sales and visibility.
Drive relevance across key consumption occasions through tailored messaging, occasion campaigns and big regional moments.
MARKETING INNOVATION & PREMIUM EXECUTION
Develop innovative, locally relevant ideas that bring the brand to life across the full marketing mix.
Ensure every touchpoint delivers a premium, detail-obsessed consumer experience at events and in field activations.
Identify and leverage strategic third-party event partnerships to increase brand visibility, consumer engagement, and product usage within key local scenes.
Build and maintain strong relationships with key opinion leaders, media partners, industry stakeholders, and influential community networks across the region.
Incorporate Red Bull athlete activations into marketing plans and deliver integrated 360° campaigns that maximise brand reach and engagement.
ORGANISATIONAL CAPABILITIES & ENABLING STRUCTURE
Lead by example, embodying Red Bull’s values and fostering a positive, inspiring team culture.
Recruit, train and manage a high-performing team that lives the Red Bull attitude.
Coach and develop team members through ongoing feedback, performance evaluations and clear development plans.
Partner with the Head of Field Marketing to assess capability gaps and implement targeted development plans.
Train regional teams (including sales) on brand strategies and best-in-class execution.
DRIVING EFFICIENCIES
Maintain efficient, premium-supporting logistics, warehousing and infrastructure systems.
Own regional budget planning and management in partnership with the line manager and national specialists.
Continuously identify cost savings and operational efficiencies in the region.
Build smart, mutually beneficial partnerships that add value through expertise, networks, assets or budget.
Manage agencies and external partners to deliver smooth, effective event logistics and execution.
5+ years marketing experience within sports/events or culture marketing within Queensland.
3+ years of people management experience (direct line manager responsibilities).
Experience in working with universities or casual workforce will be highly regarded.
Excellent communication, presentation, and training skills, with the ability to engage and influence diverse audiences.
Ability to manage multiple priorities while collaborating effectively across diverse, cross-functional teams.
