Lead Product Manager

Job overview and responsibility
- Own the market end-to-end: product, growth, partnerships, compliance, and performance
- Write specs and work directly with engineers to ship market-specific product changes
- Know your numbers cold pull and interpret signup, activation, retention, and acquisition data yourself
- Run growth experiments (referral, lifecycle, local channels) with control arms and honest readouts
- Manage and grow local partnerships: payment rails, card programs, identity verification, distribution
- Keep the product compliant KYC, fraud controls, regulatory wording, and risk judgment calls Stay close to user experience and drive issues to resolution with engineering
Required skills and experiences
Must-have:
- ~7 years experience, including time at a venture-backed startup where you were close to the build
- Has personally written specs, worked with engineers, and shipped not managed a team that did
- Comfortable writing SQL or getting to the same answers without an analyst
- Strong grasp of unit economics and what makes a fintech market work
- Sound judgment on compliance and risk with incomplete information
- Can represent the company credibly with banks, providers, and regulators
- Native-level command of the local language, fluent working English
- Understands local payments/identity landscape: rails, card acceptance, ID documents, local credit norms
Fluent English communication.
Preferred skills and experiences
- Prior fintech, payments, or lending experience
- Experience launching or scaling a market for a consumer product
- Partnership or licensing experience with banks and regulators
- Python for scripting and analysis
