ABOUT THE ROLE
Seize Talent is hiring an AI Engineer for a startup in the San Francisco Bay Area. The company builds AI agents for real companies.
The company already has a remote team in the Philippines, and it is growing that team. You will work with teammates across the Philippines and the US.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
• Build and configure AI agents for client use cases.
• Write and refine agent prompts, then test how the agent behaves.
• Review real conversations, find failures, and fix the cause.
• Analyze agent performance data and report what you find.
• Work with clients and teammates to turn requirements into a working agent.
• Learn new tools from their documentation, then share what you learn with the team.
From your first week, you work on live client projects. You get a structured onboarding plan so you can contribute early.
This is not a data-entry or chat support role. You will debug systems, analyze data, and write for a living.
WHAT YOU WILL WORK ON
• Prompt engineering and AI agent design.
• Evaluation and debugging of LLM behavior in production.
• Turning a client requirement into a working system.
WHAT WE LOOK FOR
• A degree in Computer Science, Math, Engineering, or another quantitative field.
• Excellent spoken and written English. You will work directly with the US team and clients.
• Strong asynchronous communication. You post updates without a reminder. You work independently from home.
• Strong logic and problem-solving. You can pick up a new tool from its documentation.
Prior AI experience is a plus, not a requirement. Clear thinking and clear English matter more than a tool list.
THE DETAILS
• Compensation: PHP 50,000 per month.
• Employment: full-time, long-term, with room to advance.
• Hours: 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM PHT. Occasional calls may fall just outside this window.
• Location: fully remote. Work from anywhere in the Philippines. No office, no commute.
• Setup: you need a stable internet connection and a quiet place to take calls.
