Web Developer (Remote, Project-Based Contract)

TeamFicient is looking for a Web Developer to maintain and improve our company website: core functionality, real-time accuracy, SEO, and website health and compliance. This is a solo, project-based engagement where you own execution end to end.

IT team touchpoints and management check-ins as needed, with some availability overlapping EST, CST, or PST business hours

What You'll Work On
Feature Work
Fix our candidate-matching feature so results reflect real-time availability
Produce and stage design proposals for a page redesign
Build a new services page per approved scope
Site Health, SEO & Compliance
Run website health checks, then identify and document technical issues with remediation
Monitor and improve technical and on-page SEO
Review website compliance requirements, including accessibility, and identify remediation items
Environment & Handoff
Maintain clear separation between staging and production
Test and validate all changes before production release
Deliver technical handoff documentation at project close
Must-Haves
Full-stack or front-end web development experience with CMS-based websites
Experience integrating websites with external data sources or APIs to show live data
Practical SEO experience, both technical and on-page
Experience managing staging and production environments safely
Good-to-Haves
UI/design proposal experience
Website compliance or accessibility remediation experience
Experience with website monitoring tools
