The Inside Sales Representative is responsible for supporting and growing sales by building strong customer relationships, responding to customer needs, preparing quotes, and processing orders. This position will work directly with the Director of Sales & Business Development to support customers and grow PowerWool’s business across the East Coast.
This is an entry-level inside sales and ligistics coordinator opportunity designed for highly motivated individuals who enjoy talking with customers, solving problems, staying organized, and learning about a growing industry with a powerful company. No previous sales or insulation experience is required although it would be considered a strong asset. The successful candidate will receive product training and have the opportunity to grow into expanded sales and business development responsibilities.
What You’ll Do
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with distributors, contractors, builders, and other customers
• Make outbound calls and follow up with prospective and existing customers to generate sales opportunities
• Communicate with customers by phone and email to understand their needs and provide solutions
• Prepare and send accurate quotes, pricing, product information, and other sales materials
• Enter and process customer orders accurately and coordinate order details through fulfillment
• Work directly with the Director of Sales & Business Development on customer opportunities, quotes, orders, and follow-up
• Maintain accurate customer, quote, and opportunity information in CRM and other computer systems
• Follow up on quotes and open opportunities to help move business forward
• Help coordinate samples, literature, product information, and other customer requests
• Support monthly and annual sales objectives through consistent customer communication and follow-up
• Work with local freight carriers and ensure order fulfillment

You don’t need years of experience—we’re looking for attitude over résumé. We can teach you the products and the industry; we need someone who is dependable, organized, confident on the phone, and willing to learn.
Ideal candidates possess:
• Computer proficient and comfortable learning new software including AI tools
• Sales or customer service experience is helpful, but not required
• Strong verbal, written, and phone communication skills
• Self-motivated, positive, and driven personality
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment
• Excellent organization, follow-up, and time management skills
• Comfortable spending the majority of the workday communicating with customers by phone and email
• Professional, dependable, and comfortable working as part of a small, fast-growing team
What Success Looks Like
Within your first year you will:
• Build strong relationships with key distributors and customers
• Develop a strong understanding of PowerWool products and the mineral wool insulation market
• Order entry, logistics coordinating, support to the sales team
• Consistently follow up on quotes, orders, and customer opportunities
• Become highly proficient in PowerWool’s CRM, quoting, and order-entry processes
• Help grow profitable revenue through excellent customer service and sales support
• Become a trusted resource for customers and an important part of the PowerWool sales team
Highly organized with projects, quoting and logistics
Compensation begins at $60,000 annually based in experience with a strong bonus structure
