Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Radiologist role based at Samay Hospitals Group in Patna. The Radiologist will interpret and report on medical imaging studies, including X-rays, CT scans, MRI, ultrasound, and other diagnostic modalities as available. Responsibilities include collaborating with referring clinicians to guide diagnostic workups, recommending appropriate imaging procedures, and participating in multidisciplinary case discussions. The role involves ensuring accurate, timely reporting, maintaining quality and safety standards in imaging, and adhering to relevant clinical protocols and regulatory requirements. The Radiologist may also supervise imaging technologists, contribute to protocol optimization, and support training initiatives for junior medical staff.
Qualifications
Strong foundation in Medicine with the ability to integrate clinical information into imaging interpretations.
Advanced expertise in Radiology and Medical Imaging, including interpretation of cross-sectional and conventional imaging studies.
Knowledge of Nuclear Medicine principles and techniques, with the ability to collaborate on or interpret relevant studies where applicable.
Experience in Mammography and breast imaging, including screening and diagnostic mammograms, is highly desirable.
Recognized medical degree (MBBS or equivalent) with completed residency or postgraduate qualification in Radiology (MD/DNB or equivalent).
Valid medical registration/license as required by local regulatory authorities.
Strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and commitment to diagnostic accuracy and patient safety.
Effective communication and teamwork skills to work closely with clinicians, technologists, and administrative staff.
Willingness to participate in continuous medical education and stay updated with advances in imaging technology and radiologic practice.
