Role Description The Accountant at SKANCODE TECHNOLOGIES will manage day-to-day financial activities, including recording transactions, maintaining ledgers, and ensuring accurate documentation of income and expenses. Responsibilities include preparing financial statements, reconciling accounts, monitoring cash flow, and supporting budgeting and forecasting processes. The role involves handling accounts payable and receivable, assisting with payroll calculations, and ensuring timely tax and statutory compliance in accordance with relevant regulations. The Accountant will collaborate with internal teams to provide financial insights, support audits, and help improve financial controls and reporting. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Ernakulam.
Qualifications
Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and general ledger management.
Experience with accounting software and proficiency in spreadsheet tools such as Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets.
Ability to perform account reconciliations, manage accounts payable and receivable, and support budgeting and forecasting.
Familiarity with tax regulations, statutory compliance, and audit support activities.
Excellent attention to detail, numerical accuracy, and analytical problem-solving skills.
Effective written and verbal communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
Strong organizational and time management abilities to handle multiple deadlines and priorities.
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field; professional certifications (e.g., CA, CMA, CPA) are an advantage.
Prior experience in an accounting or finance role, preferably in a technology or services organization.
