Role Description The Talent Acquisition Manager (part-time, remote) is responsible for leading end-to-end recruitment activities to support the company’s growth in the animal production and veterinary services sector. Day-to-day tasks include identifying hiring needs, defining role requirements with managers, sourcing candidates through various channels, screening applications, and conducting initial interviews. The role also involves coordinating selection processes, managing offers, and ensuring a positive candidate experience that reflects the company’s values and culture. The Talent Acquisition Manager will maintain accurate recruitment records, track key hiring metrics, and collaborate with HR to support workforce planning and onboarding. This position requires independent work, effective virtual communication, and the ability to manage multiple requisitions in a flexible, part-time schedule.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess skills in Human Resources (HR) and HR Management to oversee recruitment processes and support broader people initiatives.
Candidates should possess skills in Employee Relations and Performance Management to align hiring decisions with organizational culture and long-term talent development.
Candidates should possess skills in HR Policies to ensure recruitment practices comply with internal guidelines and applicable regulations.
Experience in talent acquisition, including sourcing, interviewing, and candidate assessment, preferably within tech-enabled or veterinary/animal production environments.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with diverse candidates and stakeholders in a remote setting.
Proficiency with applicant tracking systems, online recruitment platforms, and standard office software tools.
Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and meet deadlines in a part-time remote role.
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
