Strategic Business Operations Director

Position Summary
We are seeking a visionary, results-driven Strategic Business Operations Director to lead organizational strategy, operational execution, and sustainable scaling at internXL. Serving as a key executive partner to the CEO and senior leadership team, this role will architect multi-year strategic plans, align operational resource capacity, and ensure enterprise alignment behind core priorities.
The Strategic Business Operations Director will establish scalable governance structures, manage complex executive workflows, and oversee the execution of mission-critical growth initiatives. The ideal candidate brings deep operational acumen, executive presence, and a proven track record of converting high-level vision into sustainable operational structures and measurable impact.
Key Responsibilities
Executive Leadership & Multi-Year Strategic Planning
Architect, execute, and monitor internXL’s multi-year strategic plan, aligning departmental operations with overarching organizational mission and growth targets.
Serve as a primary thought partner and strategic advisor to the CEO and executive leadership team on high-stakes business decisions, organizational design, and enterprise positioning.
Translate long-term organizational vision into measurable operating plans, establish key performance indicators (KPIs), and hold cross-functional leaders accountable for execution.
Direct market, policy, and competitive research to evaluate expansion opportunities, strategic positioning, and new operational models.
Organizational Governance & Executive Reporting
Synthesize operational metrics, strategic performance data, and organizational outcomes to drive informed decision-making and comprehensive executive reporting.
Establish enterprise-wide operational rhythms, information flow standards, and governance frameworks to keep executive focus aligned on top strategic priorities.
Serve as a high-level operational liaison to institutional partners, key stakeholders, and external executive teams.
Operational Alignment & Resource Optimization
Align enterprise operational capacity and workload distribution in collaboration with department leaders, ensuring cross-functional teams support strategic priorities.
Oversee operational delivery systems across key organizational initiatives, tracking execution against strategic milestone goals.
Evaluate program efficiency, operational ROI, and workflow utilization across departments to support long-term organizational sustainability and scale.
Enterprise Initiative Acceleration & Portfolio Management
Oversee the portfolio of high-impact enterprise initiatives, including institutional partnership integration, geographic expansion, and program delivery systems.
Build enterprise risk management (ERM) frameworks, continuous improvement standards, and operational resilience models across all business units.
Direct post-implementation reviews, structural retrospectives, and process optimization to support rapid organizational scaling.
