Company Description CD Entertaining Productions is an animation company founded by creator Cory Duncan, originally focused on producing short films as a solo venture in 2023. Role Description The President role at CD Entertaining Productions is a full-time, remote leadership position responsible for setting the company’s strategic direction and overseeing day-to-day operations. This role will guide the creative and business vision of the studio, manage key initiatives, and ensure that projects align with long-term goals. The President will collaborate with creative, production, and administrative teams, oversee budgeting and resource allocation, and build partnerships that support the company’s growth. Daily responsibilities include leading organizational planning, fostering a positive and inclusive culture, making high-level decisions on project pipelines, and representing the company in external communications and industry engagements. The President will also mentor emerging leaders, support team development, and maintain clear, transparent communication across the organization.
Qualifications
Leadership and management skills, including experience overseeing teams, setting strategic direction, and driving organizational growth.
Background in animation, film, media, or creative industries, with an understanding of storytelling, production workflows, and audience engagement.
Strong business acumen, including budgeting, financial oversight, and experience with planning and executing long-term initiatives.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills for collaborating with internal teams and external partners.
Ability to operate effectively in a remote environment, with strong organization, time management, and decision-making skills.
Commitment to inclusive, non-discriminatory practices and the creation of a supportive, diverse workplace.
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Film, Media, Communications, or a related field; equivalent relevant experience will also be considered.
Prior executive or senior leadership experience in a creative or entertainment setting is highly beneficial.
