Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Sales Manager role based in the Pune Division. The Sales Manager will lead and manage a sales team to achieve housing finance business targets, drive customer acquisition, and deepen relationships with existing customers. Responsibilities include overseeing lead generation, managing the sales pipeline, ensuring high-quality customer service, and supporting cross-selling and up-selling of relevant financial products. The role involves building and maintaining strong relationships with developers, builders, and channel partners, monitoring market trends, and implementing sales strategies aligned with company objectives. The Sales Manager will also be responsible for compliance with internal policies and regulatory guidelines, reporting performance metrics, and contributing to continuous process improvement.
Qualifications
Strong sales management and business development skills, including experience in target achievement and team leadership.
Knowledge of housing finance products and retail lending processes, preferably within NBFC/HFC or banking environments.
Ability to build and manage relationships with developers, builders, channel partners, and customers.
Proficiency in pipeline management, forecasting, and use of CRM or sales tracking tools.
Solid understanding of regulatory and compliance requirements in the housing finance sector.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, or a related field; MBA or equivalent postgraduate qualification is an advantage.
Prior experience in sales leadership in financial services, especially mortgage or home loans, is highly preferred.
Ability to work on-site in Pune Division and travel locally as required.
