Great Dane is seeking a **Senior Business Systems Analyst specializing in Supply Chain** to bridge business functions, IT teams, external consultants, and technology vendors. The role focuses on translating business requirements into effective system functionality and solutions while improving business process efficiency through technology.
The position supports comprehensive system testing, data quality, application functionality, end-user support, and continuous process improvement across key supply chain and business operations.
## Key Responsibilities
* Gather, understand, and document business objectives, specifications, and requirements.
* Serve as a primary liaison between business functions and technology teams.
* Understand business and technology challenges and identify opportunities for improvement.
* Identify opportunities to improve business processes through better use of system functionality and data.
* Document business processes, requirements, functional designs, and usability considerations.
* Provide end-user support for key applications and data areas.
* Define business rules that support data accuracy and consistency.
* Identify, investigate, and resolve data quality issues.
* Test and maintain computer programs and systems.
* Conduct investigative analysis and feasibility evaluations for projects and applications.
* Prioritize multiple requests and system requirements to meet project objectives.
* Identify issues that may affect daily operations or projects and work with business users to evaluate solutions.
* Communicate project status, solutions, concerns, and relevant information across teams.
* Establish and maintain strong relationships across business functions.
* Develop training materials and provide training related to business systems and processes.
* Continuously develop systems knowledge through research, networking, reading, and formal training.
* Perform additional responsibilities as assigned.
## Qualifications
* Bachelor’s degree in **Computer Science, Engineering, or Operations Management** is preferred.
* Minimum **10 years of experience** applying information systems solutions to business challenges.
* Experience working as a Business Analyst on large projects or multiple concurrent projects.
* Experience with **ERP implementation and support**.
* Strong business understanding across multiple functions, particularly:
* Purchasing
* Sales Order Management
* MPS/MRP
* Inventory Management
* Transportation Management
* Experience with one or more ERP systems; **JD Edwards** experience is preferred.
* Ability to translate and communicate complex concepts across business functions.
* Experience with process and data mapping.
* Experience with system testing, problem resolution, and user training.
* Knowledge of application development processes and **SDLC** is preferred.
* Project management experience is preferred.
* Strong analytical, statistical, and problem-solving abilities.
* Strong attention to detail.
* Excellent verbal, written, and listening communication skills.
* Patience and effectiveness when working with end users.
* Strong sense of urgency and follow-up skills.
* Customer-focused approach with a commitment to quality and continuous improvement.
* Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively, including in a remote environment.
* Experience with **Power BI** and **Orchestrator** is a plus.
* Ability to travel domestically up to **50%**.

## Compensation & Benefits
The expected annual salary range is **$85,957–$174,994**, with final compensation determined based on skills, experience, and other job-related factors.
