Role Description The Housekeeping Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Candolim, responsible for overseeing all housekeeping operations across guest rooms, public areas, laundry, and back-of-house spaces. The role includes leading and scheduling housekeeping and laundry teams, assigning daily tasks, and ensuring cleanliness, hygiene, and presentation standards are consistently met. The Housekeeping Manager coordinates with front office and maintenance teams to manage room readiness, respond promptly to guest requests, and address any service issues. Daily responsibilities involve inspecting rooms and common areas, managing inventory of cleaning supplies and linens, and ensuring compliance with safety and sanitation procedures. The role also includes training team members, supporting hiring decisions within the department, and maintaining high levels of guest satisfaction through effective communication and service.
Qualifications
Strong supervisory skills to lead, train, schedule, and motivate housekeeping and laundry teams.
Hands-on experience with housekeeping and laundry operations, including room cleaning standards and linen care.
Excellent customer service and communication skills to interact professionally with guests and colleagues.
Experience in hiring, onboarding, and performance management within a hospitality or service environment.
Prior experience as a Housekeeping Manager or Supervisor in hotels or resorts is highly beneficial.
Knowledge of safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards relevant to hospitality operations.
Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, based on operational needs.
Diploma or degree in Hotel Management or a related field is preferred.
