Financial Analyst

Role Description The Financial Analyst role at SEQUENCE-Eng is a part-time, remote position responsible for supporting financial decision-making and performance monitoring. Day-to-day tasks include analyzing financial data and trends, preparing and reviewing financial statements, assisting with financial planning and forecasting, and contributing to financial reporting for internal and external stakeholders. The role also involves identifying variances, risks, and opportunities, preparing concise reports and dashboards, and providing insights to support budgeting, cost control, and strategic initiatives. The Financial Analyst will collaborate with cross-functional teams and management to ensure accurate, timely, and compliant financial information.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong Finance knowledge with experience in Financial Planning and budgeting.
Candidates should possess robust Analytical Skills for examining financial data, trends, and variances.
Candidates should possess skills in preparing, interpreting, and reconciling Financial Statements.
Candidates should possess proficiency in Financial Reporting, including management reports and performance dashboards.
Candidates should ideally have experience with Excel and financial analysis tools, and familiarity with engineering or project-based environments is beneficial.
Candidates should demonstrate strong attention to detail, communication skills, and the ability to work independently in a remote, part-time setting.
A relevant degree or certification in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field is preferred.
