Role context: Kural is a multi-tenant B2B SaaS platform for pharma market research analytics, serving. This role owns architecture, security posture, and delivery quality across our AWS/Python/React stack and is client-facing on security and compliance as often as it is internal-facing on code and design.
Must-have technical depth :
Multi-tenant architecture: has designed or operated tenant isolation at the data layer (row-level security, per-tenant encryption keys) and understands the blast radius when isolation assumptions break.
Identity & auth: comfortable with federated SSO (SAML/OIDC/OAuth 2.1) and role/profile attribute modeling.
Data security: has implemented or reviewed envelope encryption or per-tenant KMS key patterns, including failure modes.
Backend at scale: production Python across Lambda and container/EKS workloads; can critique a low-level design, not just write endpoints.
Caching correctness: can reason about cache key design and invalidation ownership across multiple layers.
Frontend judgment: has shipped a dense, power-user UI and can speak to real layout and interaction tradeoffs.
Must-have leadership & delivery habits
Design discipline iterates through multiple rounds rather than shipping the first idea.
Mentoring: has delivered structured technical training, ideally using the team's own incident history as case material.
SDLC ownership: has run or improved a lifecycle/governance process.
Written precision under compliance pressure: can produce accurate, defensible compliance documentation as a recurring part of the job.
