Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Customer Service Representative role based in Chennai. The role involves responding to customer inquiries via phone, email, and in person, providing accurate information about products, services, and order status. The Customer Service Representative will log and track service requests, coordinate with technical and sales teams, and follow up to ensure timely resolution. Responsibilities include maintaining customer records, documenting interactions, and gathering feedback to improve customer experience and satisfaction. The role also includes handling basic complaint resolution, escalating complex issues appropriately, supporting after-sales service activities, and contributing to customer-centric process improvements.
Qualifications
Demonstrated experience in customer-facing roles, such as Customer Service Representatives and Customer Support functions.
Strong focus on Customer Service and Customer Satisfaction, with the ability to manage inquiries and resolve issues effectively.
Ability to enhance Customer Experience through clear communication, empathy, and proactive follow-up.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English; proficiency in local languages (e.g., Tamil) is an advantage.
Good problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and capability to work with cross-functional teams.
Comfort with using CRM systems, office productivity tools, and basic documentation practices.
Ability to work on-site in Chennai, manage a full-time schedule, and handle a fast-paced industrial environment.
Diploma or bachelor’s degree in any discipline; prior experience in manufacturing, engineering, or industrial products is a plus.
