Role Description This full-time, on-site Hardware Test Engineer role is based in Mumbai. The Hardware Test Engineer will design and execute test plans for LED display and digital signage hardware, including boards, modules, and integrated systems. Responsibilities include setting up and operating test equipment, validating performance against specifications, identifying and debugging hardware issues, and documenting test results and corrective actions. The role involves close collaboration with design, production, and quality teams to support new product introduction, reliability testing, and continuous improvement of existing solutions. The engineer will also contribute to test process optimization and adherence to safety and quality standards.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong skills in Hardware Testing and general Testing methodologies.
Candidates should possess solid understanding of Hardware components and system-level architecture.
Candidates should possess proficiency in using Test Equipment such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, and signal generators.
Candidates should possess effective Debugging skills for diagnosing and resolving hardware faults.
Relevant experience with electronics, embedded systems, or LED display technology is beneficial.
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Electrical/Electronics Engineering or a related technical field is preferred.
Ability to read schematics, use basic design tools, and follow test procedures accurately.
Strong documentation skills, attention to detail, and ability to work collaboratively on-site in Mumbai.
