Territory Manager – Business Development & Service Delivery (TM-BDSD)

Job Purpose
Manage the territory’s appraiser network, recruitment, deployment and service delivery, ensuring branch coverage, TAT, compliance and fraud-risk controls.
Key Responsibilities
· Recruit, onboard and deploy Full-Time, Re-Appraisal & On-Call Appraisers; close vacancies within 30–45 days.
· Ensure mandatory second-level skill testing and training for all appraisers before onboarding/deployment.
· Ensure uninterrupted branch service and monitor TAT, productivity and service quality.
· Conduct quarterly visits to every client branch, including audits and compliance checks.
· Identify and escalate fraud, process deviations and operational risks.
· Resolve client/branch escalations and track corrective actions to closure.
· Maintain MIS, dashboards, recruitment, appraiser and compliance reports.
· Coordinate with RM/ZM – BD&SD, ARO, appraisers and client bank/NBFC teams.
Requirements
· 5–8 years in gold loan/NBFC/banking operations, field sales or appraiser/manpower management, with 2+ years in territory/team supervision.
· Knowledge of gold appraisal, purity testing, hallmarking, compliance and fraud-risk awareness.
· Strong recruitment, stakeholder management, Excel/MIS, territory planning, negotiation and issue-resolution skills.
· High integrity, ownership, communication, coaching and adaptability for a travel-heavy field role.
· Gold appraisal certification or Phobosgold Skill Test completion within probation if not already held.
