Role Description This is a part-time remote role for a Video Editor. The Video Editor will assemble and refine raw footage into polished videos, including cutting, arranging, and synchronizing audio and visual elements. Responsibilities include applying color grading, basic sound adjustments, and motion graphics to enhance visual impact and brand consistency. The role involves collaborating with content creators, designers, and other stakeholders to interpret briefs, revise edits based on feedback, and deliver final assets in required formats and resolutions. The Video Editor will also help maintain organized project files, media libraries, and editing templates to support efficient workflow.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess skills in Video Production and Video Editing for assembling and refining high-quality content.
Candidates should possess skills in Video Color Grading for ensuring consistent visual tone and quality across projects.
Candidates should possess skills in Motion Graphics and Graphics for creating titles, overlays, animations, and visual assets.
Proficiency with industry-standard editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar) and basic audio editing tools.
Strong attention to detail, time management abilities, and capacity to meet deadlines in a remote, collaborative environment.
Effective communication skills for interpreting creative briefs and incorporating feedback from multiple stakeholders.
Previous experience in digital content, social media video, or similar creative environments is preferred.
