Role Description The Employment Lawyer will handle a variety of labor and employment matters, including advising clients on employment contracts, workplace policies, and compliance with relevant legislation. Day-to-day responsibilities include drafting and reviewing employment agreements, preparing legal opinions, managing case files, and representing clients in employment tribunals and other dispute resolution forums. The role involves conducting legal research, assessing risks, developing case strategies, and negotiating settlements where appropriate. The lawyer will collaborate with colleagues, communicate regularly with clients, and maintain detailed documentation of all case activities. This is a full-time remote role, requiring consistent availability during standard business hours and effective use of digital collaboration tools.
Qualifications
Strong foundation in Law, with demonstrated experience in Labor and Employment Law.
Proficiency in drafting, reviewing, and interpreting Employment Contracts and related documentation.
Experience handling Employment Tribunal proceedings and Labor Disputes, including advocacy and negotiation.
Excellent legal research, analytical, and writing skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to manage multiple cases remotely, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a digital environment.
Strong client communication skills, including the ability to explain complex legal issues clearly and respectfully.
License to practice law in at least one relevant jurisdiction; prior experience in employment or labor law practice is highly beneficial.
